Carolina Alfonso

Carolina Alfonso is a Latin American artist whose artistic journey began at a very young age and has since evolved into an internationally recognized career.

Trained across several countries, she studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti Pietro Vanucci in Perugia, the University of San Francisco in Quito, and earned her Master’s degree in Studio Art, Magna Cum Laude, from New York University. Throughout her career she has enriched her practice through workshops at the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid and the Sorbonne in Paris.

Her work has been exhibited in major cultural institutions including UNESCO in Paris and the United Nations Palace in Geneva, where she is also one of the few female artists represented in the permanent collection.

Carolina Alfonso’s artworks are held in prestigious public and private collections across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.

Her work is deeply inspired by the wisdom of nature and its constant processes of transformation, her practice explores cycles of change, resilience, and connection.
